Dr Edge Wine Dinner
For our next NOMAD Wine Dinner, we are delighted to welcome the larger-than-life personality and true Australian wine legend that is Peter Dredge, AKA Dr Edge.
Dredgy is one of the most colourful characters in the Australian scene, and his wines have always been a firm favourite among our team and guests at NOMAD.
We have finally managed to pin him down to host a dinner in our wine cave, which will be one of our most entertaining to date.
Following healthy tenures at prominent wineries Petaluma and Bay of Fires, Dredgy headed off on a more adventurous and unrestrained path as he founded the Dr. Edge label to showcase the best that Tasmania has to offer.
The Dr. Edge range is as exciting and vibrant as the man himself, with experimental Pet-Nat’s and orange wines sitting side by side with some of the most restrained and elegant examples of Riesling, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir found anywhere in the country.
We will be tasting current release bottles of all three varieties along with a smattering of back vintages to see how these cool-climate beauties gracefully age.
An evening with Dredgy is one that will live long in the memory, and with tickets expected to sell out quickly, we urge you to secure your spot soon.
